Methodology

A "hit" means TagIt's price estimate, captured at the time the item was actually sold, was within 15% of the price it sold for.
Every closed sale counts — this includes every user on the platform, across every category, not a curated subset.
No lookahead. We use the estimate as it stood at or before the sale date, never a later, more-informed estimate.
Nothing publishes below 30 samples. A rate is shown as a 95% confidence interval, not a bare percentage, and only once the sample is large enough for that interval to be meaningfully tight.
Privacy: this report never uses item titles, brands, photos, or any per-seller data — only anonymized price pairs.
